Message understanding is the right answer. More boost means hotter cylinder temps, which increases the chances of detonation. So, even though your supporting mods are capable of pushing some ungodly boost levels, you need to give the engine fuel with a higher octane level to combat the heat to prevent the detonation.

Of course, in order to run high boost levels, you have to have turbos that can push that kind of pressure. Plus, in order to get the correct A/F ratio, you need to spray the right amount of fuel; hence the injector upgrade BigTDogg was referring to.
